Our little Snowball (the cream colored cat on my avitar) seems to be getting sick at least twice a week. She just starts acting like she has a hair ball and then gets sick. Is there something we could do to help her? None of the other cats do this.

Chances are she may definitely have a fur ball then even if she isn't coughing one up. They have a gel called Hairball Remedy I believe that is meat flavored but it helps reduce the problems. If there are any other things she is doing that are out of the ordinary then it may be a sign of something else.

Sounds like hairballs. Is she a long-haired cat? There are many products in stores for hairball treatment. I would try something and then if it doesn't help- schedule an appointment with the vet. Perhaps there is something they can give her. Also it might be something else. Eating too fast? I notice this a lot with my adult cat- Sometimes she gobbles up the food (for fear the kittens are coming) and then she pukes!

I think it has to be a hair ball. Hair ball is just a wad of undigested wet hair in the stomach. Treatments are easy for the hairball and it is of no great concern really.
