Humane Society advertises online

I was browsing our local Humane Society website and found the cutest pictures of pets they have available. I think it is a wonderful idea to help find home for these needy pets. You just find one you want and then fill out the application.

Our local SPCA does that too. I want all the pets lol. If only I had a farm I would take them all.

I saw numerous shelters do the same.
It can be a pretty effective way to find a new family for abandoned pets.

I adopted my late cat at a shelter. There are many wonderful people who work at shelters and help provide good homes for the animals.

They seem to be really getting the word out these days much better than before. I have saw so many cute little animals and wish I could adopt them all. Husband would kill me though.

There have been a real rise in the number of people who get their pets from the Humane Society and shelters. It's so nice to see that people take an interest in all animals especially the ones that might have had a bad life. Taking in a homeless pet is a wonderful thing to do.

Yes, our local shelter does Internet advertising as well. they have a site and they are also represented on Petfinder.com.

I want to adopt all those kitties, too!!

Almost all of my pets have been adopted from shelters or they've been strays that have shown up during storms.
