Not very often we make our dogs peanut butter biscuit treats from scratch though. They prefer them over anything that I could buy in the store and I can control and know exactly what is going into them. Outside of that though we really do not cook specifically for the dogs though I would love to do so.

I do the same also- When we are having something like that- A big turkey or chicken. I will cook the gizards or liver. Other than that they get what they want from our dinner.
Last night we had meatball subs- Midnight loves meatballs- so I cut one up and she ate it.

I don't even cook for me! lol I agree it's better for them, but no, it's not something I'm able to do.

I think if my dogs were the only ones in my life I would cook especially for them, but as it is right now I barely have time to get dinner done for the girls. I do make sure to get my girls and boy the best I can though.

No, I do not cook special for my animals, but they do eat what we eat sometimes. I have 2 cats that only eat meat and one cat that only eats vegetables. My dog will eat anything you give him. We call him our vacuum.

Many times I do cook some food for my animals. They seem to love it. Animals I think are much smarter than we give them credit sometimes. They always know when their going to get something from me.

Oh, my yes! Our rats are natural garbage disposals, so they get a little of everything we make. Good think we eat healthy!

It is a nice thing you are doing, I know one lady who cooks for her pets, too. I do not do it though, my kitties love their dry catfood. One wants to sample people food, but the other two do not care for it.

We sometimes do cook for our pets but only when there's nothing else to feed 'em of course, more often they eat what we eat, no leftovers.

Every birthday in our family my dog gets a piece of the family cake. My dog actually gets her own birthday cake as well. We usually make her cake in the shape of a dog bone. It's usually funfetti cake with vanilla icing. And she does get some left overs once in a while if we have meat for dinner. Oh and she does get an Xmas meal and a Thanksgiving meal.
