Stopping shedding ideas

My dog used to shed more than the normal one. We use daily brushing to stop it, but it couldn't have much effect.

What are the techniques do you follow to stop your dog from shedding.

I'm curious to see if anyone does have any shedding tricks. The only thing that has ever worked for me is brushing the dogs, and often. Sometimes my schedule doesn't let me, and I end up with a floor of dog hair. Brushing is the only thing that alleviates or lessens that.

That is the only thing that worked for us too with our Corgi. A lot of brushing and boy did she love it. In the summer the hair that would come off her was amazing! She always ran around when we finished- you could just tell how much cooler she was.

I see some shedding tools at the stores- you still have to brush or comb the dog.
