Has anyone ever used the puppy pads to house train their dog? I use to breed my Jack Russel and the last litter I tried the puppy pads. My experience with them was less than positive. I think it was easier to train them without the pads. What are your experiences?

I really think that Puppy pads are just a nuisance.

It is better with simple, consistent methods that don't rely on specialty items, IMHO.

What is a puppy pad? We always trained our dog/puppy to go outside to the bathroom. I had some friends who put newspaper in the corner of the kitchen for the dogs to go on- I found that gross. They were not puppies either.

Are these pads designed to get the dogs to go in 1 area? I would think it would be hard to train them to go outside after that?
