Vet Visits

How often do you take your dog into the veterinarian for routine care? Is there a standard we should all be following with regard to how often our dogs should be seen?

Our Vet has us in his computer so he sends out notices when one of them is due for shots etc. Plus once a year we do an exam. Of course if there is a problem with one of the dogs we make appointments for that.

Plus we have our grooming done at the vet so if they notice a problem it can be nipped in the bud.

Same with us- We get notifications each time Carmen needs something done. Which is usually once a year. I think it works best this way- I don't have to try to remember.

Once a month, always. Just to make sure he's ok and healthy. I'd advise anyone to do the same for their pets.

Wow, I would imagine this gets pricey - do you have insurance for your pets? I am more on the once a year spectrum myself.
