when you are planning to travel, where do you usually leave your pet? do you take them to a close friend? and when you want your pet to go with you, it is best to consult first your veterinarian if it is necessary to bring your pets along with you.

If it's a short trip, only a couple days, we just leave enough dry food out, put a large water bowl, and plenty of cat litter in the litterbox. Our boys do fine. For longer trips, we ask our neighbors to come and take care of our cats.
