I bought certificates from them several months ago, thinking I was getting a great deal. There were only two restaurants in my area that accept these certificates. One of them quit accepting them shortly after I bought them and the other one I can't afford. Restaurant.com does not give refunds. They said I can transfer the certificates to another restaurant but no money back. That doesn't help me at all. So, I just recommend to make sure that you have plenty of choices in your areas to use the certificates. Even call the restaurants of your choice, making sure they accept them and how much you have to spend to use them.

Thanks for the tip Topdog and for the warning aclowers. I'm going to see whether they've got a gift certificate for Red Lobster, and whether our local one accepts it. My mom's birthday is coming, so I could really use this! Smile

I`ve been to this website too. I would rather buy gift cards though. Then I don`t have to worry about the restuarant excepting them.
