Interacting with your fishies?

I have never had an aquarium, but my cousin did, and she said she was not just watching the fish, she was able to interact with them - like tap on the glass and they'd come to that part of the tank. Do you do anything like that? Is it possible to train fish?

I guess you could train them if you cold find a good reward system. Since I don't know of any fish treats, which would work along the same line as dog treats, reward might be tricky.

it depends on the type of fish you have.
most fish will come to the top of the tank, if you tap the glass every time you feed them.

with larger fish, like Oscars, there is more possibility for interaction.

tap the aquarium before you feed them, thats what i do. in a few weeks, they'll be trained as you wanted.
