Vote for your local shelter

I was not sure where to post this, hope it's okay to use this category. TheAnimalRescueSite.com has this Shelter Challenge right now where you can find your local shelter in their database and vote for it to receive some financial help. Those who get the most votes will win it - $25,000 grand prize, $10,000 runner up, and fifty four $1,000 grants to state winners. You can vote every day, too. Here is the link:

Thanks for the link. I think this is a great program as many local shelters are really struggling and could use the added money that they are offering to them.
