My parents 17-year-old dog takes an antibiotic and a heart pill every day. The antibiotic is for her gums. In her older age she gets infections very easily in her mouth.

Is the doggie good about taking her meds lizd? Do you trick her into taking the pills by hiding them in food or treats? I do this with my cats when they need to take a pill, that's the only way with them. I have heard of a dog who would just accept pills from the owner's hand and obediently swallow them.
